Guacamole Bar

Guacamole is always a fave at any party….but let your guests “dress” their own guacamole by creating a “guacamole bar” so everyone can style it up (or pile it up!) to their own individual tastes.

Start with our Classic Guacamole as the foundation of the bar, then provide as few or as many toppings for your guests to “dress” their guacamole.  Everyone ends up with their own signature guacamole and fun will be had by all!

Classic Guacamole (Plan 1/2 avocado for every person - this recipe will serve approximately 8)

4 avocados (ripe)

2 -3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice

1-2 Serrano chile or Jalapeno chile, finely diced (serranos are generally 3 x hotter than jalapeno)

2-3 tablespoons red onion, finely diced

1/2 - 1 teaspoon sea salt, fine

2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped

In mixing bowl, gently mash ripe avocados - being careful to not puree them but leaving small chunks throughout. Gently stir in lime juice, chile, onion, salt. Taste and adjust the ingredients if needed. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with our selection of below toppings.
