Chocolate Crust ingredients
1 ¼ cup crushed chocolate graham crackers or chocolate wafer cookies (reserve 2 tablespoons for garnish)
5 tablespoons melted butter
12 oz. cream cheese, softened
½ cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon Grand Marnier or vanilla extract
1 11 oz. jar My Brother’s Cranberry Orange Salsa
1 orange for zesting
Reserved chocolate crumbs
To make crust:
Combine crushed cookies with melted butter until well mixed. Press into an 8” pie or tart pan, bringing it up on the sides about an inch. Bake in 350* for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool while you prepare the filling.
To make cheesecake:
Mix cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Add beaten egg and Grand Marnier and mix til combined. Pour into prepared chocolate crust. Bake in 350* oven for 30 min. Remove and let cool.
To serve: Top with spoonfuls of My Brother’s Cranberry Orange Salsa, orange zest, chopped pecans, and chocolate crumbs.
