1 pound meatballs-cooked (homemade or purchased)

28 ounce package cocktail smokies

1 ½ cups My Brother’s Helen’s Rustic Original Salsa or House

1 cup brown sugar or honey

1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons mustard

1 small onion, peeled, left whole

garnish:  fresh cilantro or chives


Place all ingredients in slow cooker.  Cook on low for 2 hours. Stir occasionally.  To serve:  remove onion from slow cooker, garnish with fresh cilantro or chives.

Cook’s Note:  Choose My Brother’s Helen’s Rustic Original or House Salsa in HOT if you want this dish spicy.
